Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) joins the coalition
The GEC is pleased to welcome the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) to the coalition.
The Stockholm Environment Institute is an international non-profit research organization that has worked with environment and development issues from local to global policy levels for a quarter of a century. SEI works to shift policy and practice towards sustainability.
SEI’s vision is a sustainable future for all. Our mission is “to support decision-making and induce change towards sustainable development around the world by providing integrative knowledge that bridges science and policy in the field of environment and development”.
Having worked with the Coalition and its partners in the recent past on projects related to sustainable development and green economic development, the Stockholm Environment Institute is delighted to have now become a member of the GEC. SEI has been working at the interface of sustainable development science and policy for over 25 years, and looks forward to working with, and learning from, the GEC's international network in projects which enable a global transition to sustainable and fair societies. Johan L. Kuylenstierna, Executive Director, SEI
The Stockholm Environment Institute is explicit about working from local to global and putting stakeholder involvement at the heart of their work. We feel privileged to work with them and strengthen by their knowledge and approach. Oliver Greenfield, Convenor, GEC
